Women in Peru don yellow underwear on New Year’s Day. I read this in a book. I didn’t want to know why. I didn’t even want to know if it was true. In fact, I didn’t want to know anything more. I just wanted to know that it was something I could say, someday, when I felt the need to say something but didn’t know what to say. I would say it, some day, but not in Peru. In Peru, I read, sometimes you can discover things about yourself and about Peru that are not true.
